Meet ContextLens: AI-Powered Graphics That Read Your Mind (Almost)

Stagwell’s digital agency, Code and Theory, has introduced ContextLens, a pioneering AI-driven "anticipatory" graphics tool. Designed to analyze what readers are viewing on a page, this tool uses generative AI to produce tailored graphics and informational prompts that deepen user engagement without redirecting them from the page. ContextLens reads metadata and dynamically generates relevant visuals and content prompts based on the reader’s focus, enhancing the way users interact with dense data.

On RealClearPolling's website, the tool appears as a small prompt in the corner, offering interactive graphics and suggestions. For instance, if a user is examining Electoral College data, the tool might suggest related topics like changes in state support or current battleground forecasts. With options to delve into these suggestions or even ask specific questions, users receive visually contextualized information that enriches their understanding seamlessly.

Code and Theory believes ContextLens has the potential to simplify complex data for readers while creating new ad inventory opportunities for publishers. Currently in beta, the tool is available to other publishers interested in enhancing their content interaction through AI.
